Watson

This name was posted as a suggestion in the Literary Names thread below, and I'm really digging it. Curious to hear the opinions of others?

It would be Watson Howard (Howard after my grandfather). Watts seems like a cute nickname. I like that the name is a little different but still has a classic feel to it.

Thoughts?

My favorite dog growing up was Watson so I couldn't use it for that reason.

But I do think it's a nice name, Sherlock Holmes reference aside.  And Watts is cute, although a little to "stuffy" for my taste.   Sort of reminds me of pregnancy concierge Rosie Pope and her DS Wellington being Baby Wells.

Definitely think of Sherlock. Watson was our big contender for our dog name so for me that's what I think of. Sorry!

My first thought was Watson and Crick, who discovered the structure of DNA, but then again I am a biology nerd Smile. I definitely think you'll get a lot of Sherlock Holmes references.

I think it is kind of a cute name, but your LO would be hearing "Elementary, my dear Watson", for the rest of his life.
