out of nowhere baby wont sleep!?

So my 9 month old daughter is a wonderful sleeper, sleeps 930pa-830am.

The past 3 nights she goes to bed fine then wakes up screaming in the middle of the night and wont stay in her crib nor go back in it after I rock her back to sleep.

I heard this is normal to happen every so often.

I dont believe in her sleeping in our bed but after 2 hrs of trying to get her back in her crib i had to put her in our so we could sleep. My husband and I both work full time and cannot go to work with only 3 hours or so of sleep! If it was a weekend I'd stick it out.

She is teething right now.

I just want to know if this is normal just to happen out of the blue and what should we do? Any tips or suggestions would be great!

Thanks!

I just went through this with my son. It lasted about 3 weeks and he was teething as well. Eventually, I just got to the point where I had to let him cry and fuss for a few minutes, then he would fall back to sleep on his own. I think that he got used to me coming in to get him and getting into my bed that it's what he expected each night. The doctor said to just let him fuss and see if he would go back to sleep on his own.

It is normal. It is probably teething or a normal sleep regression. It sucks but it will pass.

Baby advil is your friend! I just give it at bedtime when he is going through teething phases and it works pretty well.

Oh my our almost 11 month old is doing the same thing!

Screams bloody murder if we try to put him back in the crib. The past 3 nights he has woken at 4am. And he screams. He wont even fall asleep in our bed. I have to put him back in his crib to see if he will cry and pass out.. but I can only stand about 5 minutes of the screaming, bc it sounds like he is dying. Then he passes out as soon as I pick him up.

We too, work full time jobs and need sleep.

Teething? A food allergy? nightmares? seperation anxiety? ghosts (I know I know but really you never know) Tonight were trying a night light, soothing sounds, and some natural teething tablets.
