Low Motility do supplements help

Dec 14 we will be visting my wifes OBGYN to discuss IUI. I am on clomid already and per urologist should continue taking until IUI. This is month 4 that I just completed. The OBGYN is supposed to discuss the urologist results and recommendations regarding starting IUI. my count is high with clomid but motility is the only issue. I was curious if there were any supplements that help? I read about walnuts and have been eating them for the past 3 months daily. I also read on here about accupuncture. I dislike taking meds I already take a daily vitamin. Any other things that are know to help motility? I just want to prepare the best i can to make IUI a success. Thanks

When my DH's motility was lower than average, my RE said he should take a multivitamin. Having good nutrition helps, as well as exercise and drinking lots of water. His last specimen was significantly improved. It might help the rest of us if you put some info in your signature, such as a diagnosis. Responses will vary depending on your dx. Good luck!

MH is taking a daily multivitamin and was also put on CoQ10, L-Carnitine and Acetyl L-Carnitine. The ONLY one I have heard consistently that is proven to be beneficial is the CoQ10. It is known to specifically help improve motility. I would definitely ask about that one. We figured the rest can't hurt, so he is taking them all right now. GL with your IUI!

What brand and how much CoQ10 does he take? I know Dr. Oz had Andrew Weil and also recommended CoQ10 as a must as well but didn't mention motility.

I tried GNC fertility blend but per results its hard to say if that, clomid, or walnuts increased the count but motility didn't change.
