habits

I use to eat really healthy and exercise all the time. I got Prego and started to eat less health and stopped exercising I’m 9 weeks and feel as if it is too late to start up again and any damage I might have cause is done and cant not be reversed it is making me really depressed. Can I start up again in my healthy life style or is the baby damaged from my actions I m a horrible mom already :-(

I think it is totally normal to slack on the healthy eating and exercise in the first tri.  Yea, it's important but we are also sick and tired.  If you are able to, it would be fantastic to start back up.  I would ease into it though and talk to your doctor for their diet and exercise guidelines.

I think it's fine to start back up again.  Just don't over do it- I'm sure it'll make you feel much better.  I haven't been going like I used too bc I haven't felt up to it- but did go today and it felt great!

You are not a horrible Mother. Its not like you were doing cocaine or meth or something. Pizza and some donuts are not going to damage your kid. Please get a pregnancy book and read it. You will be fine and so will your baby.

If you want to eat healthy and restart your exercise regimen, then go ahead.

This, all of this. Don't worry, there are far "worser" things that you could be doing to harm your baby. It's safe inside you =D

Eating ice cream and sitting on your butt will not hurt your baby. It's perfectly normal to eat crap and rest a lot during your first tri, and you should be. Your baby is getting everything it needs from you; it doesn't care if you don't eat vegetables or don't exercise. Relax and listen to your body.

There's never a bad time to start eating healthy, and there are few reasons for you not to exercise.

Don't jump back into crazy intense workouts without checking with your doctor, but you should be fine going for walks, at the very least. Unless your doctor has given you a reason not to, pregnant women do yoga, pilates, jog, etc. throughout their pregnancies.
