If you want to be done, be done. I would try a few bathroom breaks with toilet paper, just to see if it hurts. I know that I couldn't stop using it for a while, because it literally hurt to wipe and I had to be super careful. As long as your careful and it doesn't hurt, I'd say go ahead and toss it!
