First off, Im sooo sorry! Secondly, I myself am waiting to see if I have an ectopic..OK, I had 3 positive tests at home, called and made an appt and they got me in the following week..my appt was on 11/16..the visit seemed to be going ok until the doc asked if I was having any pain and I told I was on my right side off and on. I had been in a car accident on October 3 and the seat belt had left a bruise in that spot so i just figured it was that..she examined me and wanted an ultrasound. Well according to my LMP, she told me then I was 6 wks. 3 days. So the ultrasound started and there was nothing in my uterus BUT they saw a big ovarian cyst and "something' hanging off it or beside of it.well, I have had paraovarian cysts for a few years..So i get my Hcg levels done that day, leaving the office with them telling me if pain starts, get to the ER STAT..Scared the crap outta me and been scared since then. So that day, my levels were 400's, 2 days later, they were in the 800's..I hear from the doc and they just want me to keep my next appt. and in MY mind, Im wondering WTH? How can they make me wait so long (Dec 4). So I called the next day and told them that, if they were so worried why wasn't I been tested again?! So they fax over an order to the hospital for me to go back in 1 week which was just this past Monday,the levels were 21,049 and I have NOT heard from them! So 2 weeks is passing by with me not knowing for sure if I have an ectopic or not. I won't find out until Tues when I go to the doc for my regular visit and have another ultrasound! If it is an ectopic, I guess from all these posts, I will get a shot..I am praying every day and scared every day with just not knowing whats going on..I've read that hcg levels still rise in ectopics so Im just going insane waiting..again, I am so sorry for what your going through, I possibly could next week :(
