Pronunciation?

Is it just me who pronounces Michaela similar to mike.ella? I couldn't find a different example lol. I don't see mick.aye.la. Maybe it's just me.

I knew a girl growing up who pronounced it like Michael-uh, NN Mikey. I always have to remind myself of the Mi-kay-la pronunciation when I see it elsewhere now.

If you ever watched Dr. Quinn Med Woman that is how I always pronounce that name.  Sort of Ma-KAY-la.  Not quite right, but I'm sure if you google Dr, Quinn you can get it that way.

A girl that I grew up with pronounced it Mi-Ky-La with the NN Kyla. She was always correcting the pronounciation.

I know a Michaela pronounce Mi-shay-luh. I always pronounced it Mi-kay-luh.

I know about five Michaela's of various ages and all pronounce it Mc-KAY-la.  I know a female Michael though!

That's my sisters name. She gets called Michael or Michael-A all the time and before people see her they automatically think she is a boy and the writing is a typo. She hates it!
