Anyone else nervous or scared????

So I am 37 weeks and 3 days and starting to get alittle nervous and scared about labor.  I like to be in control and as we all know during this process you really don't have much control.  I worry about when and if my water will break, that I won't progress and with being GBS+ I know time is a factor.  I also am nervous I won't recognize the signs etc.  Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm only 33 weeks, but I'm nervous I won't recognize the signs of labor, too. My SIL just "felt weird" with both of her deliveries and had her baby less than an hour after getting to the hospital! I just keep telling myself, that no matter what happens, it will be okay. And if you feel odd, call the MD!

I had a bad C-section with DD. I'm planning on a RCS this time. I am terrified if I think about it, so I try not to. :) That's my only coping mechanism.

Oh yeah...I think it's fairly normal to feel that way. The other night, my whole stomach tensed up and my back hurt and something just didn't feel right. DH asked what was going on and all I could say was that I didn't know, just something weird. I think we're all a little worried, but at this stage in the game I'm trying to tell myself to trust my instincts. If in doubt, I'll call the doctor!

For sure.  I can't sleep some nights because of how stressed I get.  I pray and let it go...it's all I can do at this point.  It's not in my control.
We can't wait to meet baby Mason!

I, as well, like to be in control of everything. I had my whole natural childbirth plan all done and wrapped in a pretty little hypothetical bow, handed it to my doctor yesterday, got an ultrasound, and found out my baby went completely breech. YIKES! If he doesn't turn by 36 weeks, they will be scheduling my c-section. I was just starting to get my nerves settled about natural, now I'm back at square one, worrying about a c-section!

I was definitely a little more nervous with my first.

This time, I know two things-- 1. there's a baby at the end (it was just hard to picture it the first time around) and 2. L&D is one of the things that you remember for the rest of your life-- it's a day (or days) like no other, and it can be some of the most intimate hours you ever spend with your H/SO. I'm actually looking forward to it, even though last time it was 44 hours long and the hardest thing I ever had done.

I am even though this is #2 for me.  DS was an induction, so this time I'll wait to go into labor and I'm a little worried about how that will work...

I have my moments with this baby.  I had such a horrible experience the first time around, and I'll spare everyone the details, and I really don't want the same thing this time! I keep bringing my fears up to my OB and she does her best to put me at ease.

As far as recognizing the signs, even though this is baby #2, I *still* worry I won't know what labor feels like, lol!

I think about this some time. Snow hits us hard for most of the winter. My first was here within an hour from start of contractions to baby in arms. In the winter, a 13 mile interstate drive to the hospital is anywhere from 20 minutes to 40. I just feel lucky that I know all the EMT and fire department staff in my town personally, and that they can litterally walk to me from the station and some from home in less than 10 minutes. That is the only thing keeping me from going completly insane over that. I am also luck because H works a 5 minute walk from our home, so He can be here within a moments notice.

This is baby number 2 and I'm still scared. It's normal.

Im having a rcs unless I go into labor early. I had a bad first labor.

I tell myself over and over women have been doing this since the beginng of time I'll get through it too. Has to be easier now then 200 years ago!

I feel silly saying this, as this will be my 3rd, but I am nervous!  The last time I gave birth was 9 years ago.  I was younger, more in shape...more naive!  I am trying to relax a little as I am 100% planning on an epidural this time which I did not have the previous two times (not by choice).  Hoping that makes it easier this time around.
