Our house is usually vacant during the day, so for anyone looking for houses to break into, it would be a "safe" bet on a normal day. I'd rather not chance it just in case.
When there were breakins in our area, people were getting knocks on their doors for random reasons. We figure it was the burglars checking to make sure no one was home. Schedules are unpredictable and most criminals aren't totally stupid, at least when it comes to their chosen profession. They won't necessarily assume that a house is empty one day because it was another day.
But I understand your apprehension just the same.
For FFFC, I am so annoyed at having to go to NYC this weekend to hang out with inlaws. It's fun and I love them and all, but getting up at the ass crack of dawn to catch a six am train to spend less than 24 hours in New York is not how I want to spend my Saturday. I wouldn't mind if the trip was longer, but...
