What cold meds did your Doc say are ok to take?

Where is the best list?

I am NOT a doctor and I don't have a list, but I had the flu last week before finding out I was PG and I'm so happy I stuck to Oscillococcinum (sp?).  It's a homeopathic and all we had in the house when I started feeling sick.  It didn't work as well as some meds probably would have for the symptoms, but I got over a pretty bad flu that had everyone else in my house our for over two weeks in about 5 days.  I'd still check with your doctor if this is something that's OK to take, even homeopathics need to be checked on!

 Pregnancy Ticker

I believe in a lot of things. I believe in fresh tennis balls, the healing power of bunnies, and that the novels of Susan Sontag are something I'll never read. In fact, I don't even know who Susan Sontag is. What is she... like... a painter? I believe in Crystal Lite because I believe in ME. I believe in the movies of Val Kilmer, though these days it ain't so easy. I believe in Darren Sproles, the word "dabble", the first season of "Silk Stockings", and big, warm, moist, gooey chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth and all over your face.

Nada. I know some people have taken sudafed as OK'd by a doc, but I wouldn't do it in first tri. Tylenol and saline nasal spray only.

Tea with honey and/or hot water with honey and lemon a couple times a day helps, and I've always found that using a Neti pot twice a day clears me up much more quickly than usual. Feel better.

Sudafed (NOT PE, just regular sudafed) are approved by my OB and PCP for all 3 trimesters. The best bet is to call your doctor and ask.

Call you doctor. I was only allowed Benadryl, vaporizer, and saline spray.

I had a cold last week and although I'm in my second trimester my doctor said nothing, but tylenol for the aches. You pretty much have to suffer through it, sorry! I used a Neti Pot and drank hot tea.
