What do you think? I'm not pregnant or planning on it anytime soon, and its not a family name, so blunt honesty is very welcome. I just have a name crush that I would like opinions on.
Is it too (insert decade here)? Any names you can think of that would have Vera as a nickname? Does it work as a sibset with Ian? What about with our last name, that sounds like Pike?
I think of Norm talking about his wife on Cheers.
That being said no one your daughter's age would think about that.
Elsa1984:I think "old lady"
This is what I think, too. My favorite of the "ra" ending names is Nora. Not that you asked, lol, but just an idea. You may like it!
I LOVE this name. It's my #2 girl name.
My DS is Kian (sounds just like Ian, but with a K sound in front) and if we ever have a second girl, that will be her name. So I'm going to say, yes, great sibset. :)
tophandmanda:I do like the name Veronica, maybe that would be a better fit. Thanks for the input!
Yes! Veronica is a good option! Pretty name.

I like Vera and IMO it does not sound like an old lady name. It goes well with Ian.
"You do not alter a Vera to fit you, you alter yourself to fit Vera."
ITS THE FIRST THING I THINK OF!!!
I think it's cute, though. Little older sounding, but still cute.
