Vacation time!

Just had to post about how excited I am that we are taking DD on her first non family visiting vacation.  Off to San Diego tomorrow to visit Sea World, the zoo, wild animal park and a few friends.  If I can get DH to ignore business emails and calls it will be a perfect week!  

Where have you vacationed with LO so far, or what upcoming vacations do you have planned?

Have fun!  We've only gone on a couple family reunion type vacations so far.  I'm not sure when we'll plan one on our own.  Maybe this summer.

We've visited family in Ohio 8 hr drive, ugggh, spent a week at Lake George NY thus past summer 6hr drive, spend 6 nights in Disney World last month the best week EVER!, we have a trip planned to Beaches Negril for Nov 2013, a short 4 night trip to Disney World in Jan of 2014 and another week long Disney vacation in Nov 2014. This was our first year doing family vacations and we're hooked! While I did enjoy our adult only trips, nothing beats vacationing with our girls!

Ooh San Diego! That's where I went to college. So much fun stuff to do there. Enjoy!

 We took LO to France when he was 10 months old. Later in the summer we went to Montana for a family reunion and then to Seattle and Orcas Island for a wedding and to visit friends. We decided to cut back on travel for a while after all that, but next trip will probably be to Oregon for a "friend reunion." We try to do a get together with our group of college friends every year. Everyone is having kids now, so it should start to be a pretty different trip, but still very fun!

We haven't really gone on any vacations per say. We were actually supposed to do what you're doing for Christmas, but we are looking to buy a house early next year and DH decided we should save the money. We are planning a trip to Brazil for June and she will be coming with us.

San Diego zoo is awesome. Have fun! B has been on a lot of trips. Atlantis at 9 months, ft lauderdale FL at 13 m, Kauai at 15m , LA for dh meeting in January going to go to disney land! and we are going to Maui in march! Cant wait.

Have so much fun! We spent 10 days in San Diego in June and it was wonderful!!! We spent the first 6 at the hotel del coronado and that was a blast, DS loved the beach and playing in the sand. We spent the last 4 days in the city and had a wonderful time visiting the zoo, balboa park, nice restaurants, museums. Family vacations are so much fun! We are taking him to Vegas next week (for the second time for a medical conference) and we are planning a big 3 week trip this May with the grandparents, Paris for a 9 days, Greece for a week, and London for almost a week. We've been saving forever for this trip and I'm so stoked!
