My OB said no more than an hour form the hospital for 2 months before the due date. That seemed extreme to me.
But now, since I have a baby that will need special care on delivery, I'm not going away after Christmas. I decided I didn't want to be driving in places far from a hospital after Thanksgiving. I will be going to Philly a few weeks before my due date to await little boy's birth, just so he can be born at the hospital where he will have surgery.
