Is she still breech?

As far as I know I still have an anterior placenta but for the past month or so I have been feeling this little girl ALL of the time! I swear she is constantly moving around! Im wondering if she is still breech tho...at my A/S at 19 weeks they said she was and now I am feeling alot of the stronger kicks really low in my pelvic area. I will be 26 weeks Tuesday and I have an Appt Friday to take my GD test and do a regular well check. Will they do an ultrasound to see if she is still breech? If not then, when will they check again?

Not totally sure when they'll do another U/S...it might depend on your doctors office. From what I understand, it's not a big deal now if she's still breech b/c it's so early and there's plenty of time for her to flip.

I'll have another u/s at 33 weeks and then possibly another if they think I'm measuring big ("growth ultrasounds) - I had 2 towards the end with DS.

They don't worry about breech until towards the end...

Position doesn't matter for a long time.  My mom said I was in a breech position at her last appointment before I was born, but I flipped over at the last minute.  But at this point, they are still tumbling and moving around a lot.

At my appointment Wednesday, my doc was able to push on my belly and tell me what position baby boy was in by feel.  I was impressed that she could feel head and butt through all my fat layers.  But I'm pretty sure he's still flipping around, because some days I feel big kicks on my cervix, and other days it is higher on my belly.  Those higher ones I'm feeling through the anterior placenta!  So they may not have to do another ultrasound to see where the baby is.  If your baby is kicking upward at the end, I suspect you'll know it.  Smile

Breech isn't something they worry about until the very end.  My SIL's LO was breech at 34 weeks and she ended up flipping time.  I don't think it's something to worry about this early, there is still plenty of room to move around in there.

My LO has been head down since 23 weeks after being breech at the anatomy scan. I can just tell, there is a great deal of pressure down low, which is his head on my bladder and bottom of the uterus. I also feel kicks and taps down low sometimes and it's either his hands, hiccups, or his foot by his head. I feel parts moving up near my ribs so I know he's still head down. They don't need to do an u/s to check they can tell by touching your belly, but I don't think they get concerned until 36 weeks.

I'm in the same boat, breech at a/s with an anterior placenta. I only feel movement really low, so I think she's still breech, but it's early!

I asked my doctor whether I'll have another u/s on Friday.  My LO was also breech at the a/s (21 weeks for me) and the doctor guessed this past week that he still is, based on where I am feeling kicks (very low) and where the baby's head seems to be from an external exam.  She said that at around 35 weeks, she'll start looking for an excuse to do another u/s, but that it's possible that I won't have another one if it doesn't seem to be needed (I think this is mostly an insurance thing).  She also said that once the baby's head starts to harden a little more, they can usually tell whether it is breech by feeling from the outside.  Both my doctor and the instructor at my childbirth class have both said that there's no need to worry about the baby being breech until later in the pregnancy.

When I was pg with my dd and doing the childbirth classes, the instructer told the story of one lady whose baby was breech and they went to do an ultrasound during the labor to confirm the baby was breech and right after they did the ultrasound to confirm the baby was breech, they felt the baby flip to head down. So really, the position of the baby isn't 100% important until labor.
