What else do I need?

I've been trying to get a lot of baby stuff used. Other things, I've found really good deals on (like on Black Friday) so I've purchased the items myself. I feel like I don't have enough on my registry. Any ideas?

Things I've Gotten Used/Gotten Good Deals On

Diaper Bag

Jumperoo

Rock n Play

Cloth Diapers

Baby K'Tan

Cloth Wipes/Burp Clothes (going to make them!)

Bath tub

Swing

Lots of clothes

Crib/dresser-- we're getting from Costco after Xmas

    Things on Registry So Far

Car Seat/Stroller

Swaddling Blankets/Swaddleme

A few more cloth diapers

Diaper cream

Beaba Babycook + cookbook

Nail Clippers

Crib Sheets

Wet bags

Bottle drying rack

Boppy

Pack N Play

Ergo

Audio Monitor

CJ's BUTTer

Not sure about--  Breast Pump-- I'm going to see if insurance covers it.  Not sure what kind of bottles to register for.  I'm tempted to get the Boppy and Ergo off of Craigslist.  Do I need more on my registry? What am I forgetting?  I'm having a very small shower.

I like to keep things simple so your list looks good to me but I may suggest the Moby if you're planning on baby wearing as it seems with Ergo being on your list. I got mine off craigslist for $15. Also make sure the diaper cream you registered for is cloth diaper safe.

Here are some other suggestions and the ones with stars are essentials:

 -Shampoo*

- Lotion

-Hooded towels

- Washcloths

- Thermometer*

- Gripe water (I've heard it's a lifesaver for gassy babies)

- Changing pad*

- Changing pad waterproof cover*

- Changing pad cover*

- Boppy waterproof cover*

- Boppy covers (2)

- Baby socks (not just for feet but I double them as mittens so won't scratch themselves)

-Swing (Heard they can be lifesavers too, got mine $40 off craigslist)

- Snuza (Optional but I love that it helps ease the worry of it they're breathing but is a tad expensive..)

Good luck ! ;)

Skip the Beaba. It has issues with mold growth. If you don't already have a food processor or blender, register for an immersion blender. You'll get far more use out of it, and it costs less.

If you've got a rock n play, you may not need the pack n play. You know your situation best. If you do get one, look for a used one on Craigslist.

I'd get the Ergo from Amazon or other official retailer. A lot of places offering "great deals" on Ergos are counterfeiters.

Have you picked up the Baby Bargains book?

Thanks everyone! I appreciate that feedback. I am trying hard to keep things simple.  I was wondering if I will need both the pack n play and the rock n play.  I was thinking we'd use the pack n play for containment later on in the game, but I don't know!

My sister has both, but her 9 week old son only sleeps in the rock n play... I'd say if you want something for naps and night time sleeping, the rock n play is sufficient.

Also, second what PP said on fake Ergos. The lower the price from an unknown seller, the higher I think is the chance. Even amazon has fake third party sales.

We have both a RnP and a PnP, plus a swing.  We need all 3 cuz we have multiple levels in our house.  DS sleeps in our bedroom - starts off in the RnP then we switch him over to the crib after his MOTN feeds.  We love the RnP b/c he is very fussy at bedtime and won't sleep in the crib.

Our PnP is in the living room (2 floors down), and it has a changing station and a newborn napper.  We use both features right now as I don't want to carry DS up 2 flights of stairs to change him every time.  The napper is contoured and he likes it; however some days he hates the napper and will only sleep in the Swing!  All 3 of these I got < 1/2 price off Craigslist.

I much prefer My Brest Friend pillow over the Boppy, FWIW.   Other things that have been invaluable so far (DS is 3.5 wks old) are:

changing pad cover, mattress protector, tons of burp cloths (we use toddler-sized cloth diapers for that), activity gym, wash cloths and baby soap/shampoo (for baths), hooded towels, nipple cream, nursing cover.
