Molars suck!

My dd is cutting her molars. She went from sleeping great to being awful! She wants to be held all night. The minute I pick her up she's fine. Molars or do I need to sleep train again? When we did before it was ten minute cries at most. Not knowing it was teeth at first I did train and she cried a long time. Now I know we have teeth coming but the minute I pick her up she lays head on shoulder and sleeps.

Have you tried ibuprofen? It works really well for us...if my daughter has had a super fussy day where she keeps chewing on her finger in the back of her mouth, I dose her with ibuprofen before bed and generally she sleeps great...she has one more to cut through thankfully! it only took a few weeks for her to get the first three, the last one is taking its sweet time.

DS is cutting 6 molars right now and it is awful.  He has been sleeping fine but he gets really fussy during the day and has a slight fever.  I can feel all the teeth in there.

If it is the teeth hopefully you'll be able to feel the teeth soon and know for sure.  Good luck and I hope your little one feels better soon.

We're going through something very similar and I agree MOLARS DO SUCK! Sorry I don't have any advice just wanted to tell you you're not alone..hang in there :)

We ate going through same thing! He wakes 3 times a night the first time he wakes an hour after asleep bc hes drooled all over sheets and sheets are cold wet! : the next 2 times he wakes at 12 ish and 3 am and he's ok when we rock him,. He's getting second molar I can feel it. I feel like I should sleep train, but then again I guess he's in pain or something's waking him.? I give him Motrin and he still wakes up. He's never been a good sleeper at night! GL!

Thanks ladies! Good to know there's other zombie moms put there. Funny how many suggestions I got today. One that's interesting is to hang a dime from the birth year around their neck. It stops the pain. Wives tales get me sometimes! Had to share! Lol

Yep!!!  DS is cutting 4 and has been waking up around 3am every night and will NOT eat...unless its something hard like a cracker he can chew on or something soft, like from a pouch, that he doesnt have to chew.
