Thoughts/questions/vents:    Still wondering why I had that random +OPK.  I did get a little temp spike today, and now I am really kicking myself for not being able to temp Saturday morning

Getting to see my sister.   The rest of my family drives me bonkers, but I love seeing my sister. :)

Hello everyone!  I'm kind of new here.  I was here for a short time in July and lost our DD at 16 weeks.  I've been on the TTC after loss but I really liked this board the last time I was here so I thought I'd come back.  Good luck to all of you ladies TTC!  I hope your journey is short! 

Cycle/Month: 1/1 - First cycle TTC after loss

CD: 8

What are you doing this month/anything new or different? No...my cycles are pretty regular at exactly 28 days.  Just going with the flow for a few months.  No stress, just whatever happens happens.

DH SA (1/21/13) is perfect! 1st RE appt set for 1/30/13

What are you doing this month/anything new or different? Attempting to chart. It's been 4 days and I realized my thermometer isn't working right bc I keep getting the same temps. So now I have to go get a new one. Grrrr  I'm going to use OPKs too.

Thoughts/questions/vents:  ETA--like PP I wake up a million times a night bc of DD and sometimes bc of DH. Charting may be a waste of time for me right now. FWIW I know that I'm Oing...just thought it would be good to chart so I know exactly when I O

GTKY: Favorite part of the holiday season: All of it! But mostly the baking. I love to make cookies and all the traditional foods we have every year!

Thoughts/questions/vents: I had the worst period of my life second month off BCP, felt like AF was drop kicking my uterus out of my vag.

 All the women in my family have a retroverted uterus, me included. My great grandma, grandma, and mother all swear that hip propping is what worked for them. I eye roll. Grandma told me to shut my pie hole and try it for a month because, "science only goes so far." haha. 

ETA: This is the same women who only 4 weeks ago I had to go into a detailed discussion with pictures about how the urethra is separate from the vagina.

 Has anyone ever heard of having a pap smeer actually making your chances of conceiving higher? and will having a pap smeer affect my cycle??

No. It's essentially a toothbrush getting rubbed on your cervix. You might spot a little afterward, but it won't affect your chances either way.

What are you doing this month/anything new or different? Going to try and  be patient till my cycle starts being more regular... Going to the dr tomorrow, will have a pap smeer done and hear what dr says about my general health.

What are you doing this month/anything new or different? PNVs, Temping, OPKs/added Green Tea (inconsistently though, oops), Conceive Plus lube if needed, hip propping because of a pinky swear to my grandma and to tempt fate- not because I believe in it.

Thoughts/questions/vents: I'm much calmer this cycle... and shocked at how identical it is looking to last cycle so far. I thought I'd be much more irregular. Got a little darker OPK today, looking like I'm going to start fading in.

GTKY: Favorite part of the holiday season: Family time and food. And hopefully some days off work!

"Pinky swear to your grandma??"  I love it!!!  Whatever works!  I wish you the best of luck with that and I think it's super cute that you're going to follow through!  Obviously grandma knew what she was doing...maybe it'll work for you too!!!  I hope so!

 All the women in my family have a retroverted uterus, me included. My great grandma, grandma, and mother all swear that hip propping is what worked for them. I eye roll. Grandma told me to shut my pie hole and try it for a month because, "science only goes so far." haha. 

ETA: This is the same women who only 4 weeks ago I had to go into a detailed discussion with pictures about how the urethra is separate from the vagina. 

I gotta say...I like that woman!  She's right though.  Sometimes what doesn't make sense is actually the best course of action!  Do what you gotta do, pictures and all!
