Oksana

Ekaterina (Katya for short)

Svetlana (Sveta for short)

I like Ekaterina and think Katya is adorable.

Svetlana sounds a bit harsh to my ear.

Does Oksana have a nn? Sana? That could be pretty.

Squeee! I love Eastern European/Russian names :) Svetlana is a guilty pleasure name of mine, so that's my vote, but I like them all.

I like them all, but I really like Svetlana.  I like the nn Katya better than nn Sveta though.

I like Ekaterina (Katya is really cute) the most out of those three. I like Svetlana too, but I probably would do Lana for a nn. I'm not a fan of Oksana.

Ekaterina is great, especially with the name Katya for short. A friend of mine has that name, I've always liked it. Ekaterina is quite hard for a lot of people (outside of Russia) to pronounce though. But Katya is very nice.
Oksana is alright, has a nice rhythm to it. I think if I heard it more often I'd like it more over time.
Svetlana I don't really like. Too harsh. Nickname sounds like 'sweater'. Sounds kinda stuffy, or perhaps like a depressed 60 year old Siberian nurse.

Had to chuckle at the "sweater" association. The root of Sveta/Svetlana is actually the word "light" as in, let there be... Back in Russia, I met a Svetlana who went by Lana, but Sveta is the most popular nn.

OP, I like both Svetlana and Ekaterina, but prefer Ksenia to Oksana.

ETA: my smileys were eaten by the phone...

I love Svetlana. Svetlana Zakharova is one of my favourite ballerinas of all time. She is just gorgeous.
I love Ekaterina/Katya as well. If I thought my child could remotely pull it off I'd use it.

The E in Ekaterina just seems awkward to me. I like Katerina much better. Other than that I don't have a strong opinion of favorite or least favorite of the three.

I adore Ekaterina...I wish I had some roots in Russia/ the Ukraine so that I could use one of these! I do like the other two (particularly Svetlana) but Ekaterina is my fav. :)
