Why is everyone pregnant, including the Royal Family?

Seriously?

Everyday on my FB feed someone is announcing their pregnancy.

This morning I get a news alert from CNN telling me that Kate freaking Middleton is KTFU.

Feel free to tell me to get a blog, but the announcements right now are really getting to me because a lot of them are 8-12 weeks along, meaning early June DDs, which is what I had before the m/c.

Bummed out and angry today and just made an appointment with my OB about my now 63 day cycle.

I guess I'm a bitter old hag, now. ;)

I got the news today as I am waiting on a call for CD3 monitoring for my fourth IUI and I am happy for them. Those were the most watched ovaries in the world right now. 
TTC#1 since Feb 2011
CD3 & SA All Normal
HSG - Tube Sightly Blocked - Cleared by dye
Moved to RE - DX Mild PCOS
August 2012: 2nd SA - Count = 51Mil, Motility 75%, Prog 2-3, Morph 33%. Good to proceed with IUI
August 2012/December 2012: Femara + Metformin +Follistim + Trigger + IUI #1-4 = BFFN
March 2013: IVF #1

I got the news today as I am waiting on a call for monitoring on my fourth IUI and I am happy for them. Those were the most watched ovaries in the world right now. 

The bitter old hag thing was kind of a joke, hence the wink-y face. ;)

I am glad that I am not under the public microscope while TTC, definitely do not envy them for that. 

Good luck with your IUI!

TTC#2 Since July 2011
Me: 29, had two blocked tubes - left was cleared during lap&dye, right was unable to be cleared. PCOS & Stage 2 Endo. DH: 31, SA = perfect.
CLOMID: 4 rounds, 50mg + TI = BFN's.
FEMARA: 1 round = no response.
12-24-2012 : Laparoscopy, Softball sized cyst/endo/scar tissue removed.
Cycle #14 - Feb 2013 : 50mg clomid. Ovidrel Trigger. IUI on 2/14/13 = thin lining, multiple cysts.
Cycle #15 - no meds, still have cysts, no follicles. Boo!
Forced break. Continuous BCP for 6 weeks to give my jacked up ovaries a break.
Cycle #16 actively trying: May/June plan: Femara, Ovidrel Trigger, IUI! Bring iiiiit!

Not everyone's journey in TTC is easy - that's what I try to keep in mind when I see a post on facebook or announcement. Just because I'm not get that beautiful BFP doesn't mean I'll never get one. It's okay to be frustrated but I'm geninuely happy for Kate! I would not want to have that kind of pressure trying to concieve the heir to the Royal Kingdom.

I didn't even think about this.  I love Alexander McQueen.  It would be nice to see someone be the "classy" pregnant lady role model.

CNN just reported that she is in the very early stages.  I would think she is at least 3 months.  I don't think they would have announced before that.  She was just admitted to the hospital for hyperemesis.

CD3 b/w normal, HSG all clear, SA - slightly low morphology, otherwise wnl
RE consult Dec 2012, diagnosed with lean PCOS (didn't see that coming!)
medicated cycles 1 - 4 (Femara 5mg then 7.5mg), = BFN
4/2013 - started metformin, Femara 7.5mg + IUI + progesterone = BFP on 5/7/13!!! EDD 1/16/14
Beta#1 (at 13 DPIUI) 37, Beta #2 (at 15 DPIUI) 103, Ultrasound scheduled for 5/28/13

How else to convey sarcasm/joking on a message board, then?  Where's that sarcasm font everyone is always talking about?

Winks work sometimes but when your whole post is about everyone except me is pregnant and I have been trying a whole 3 months wah wah and then you call yourself a bitter hag with a winky....doesn't really work.  No one else's fertility has anything to do with yours.  It's not like William and Kate are taking the last baby to be born for the next 50 years.

I'm thrilled Kate MIddleton is pregnant!  When we get knocked-up we can expect new maternity fashions copying hers (she has awesome taste) - and when she has the baby everything she put him/her in will be what everyone wants on their kid.  Should be fun to watch!
