I haven't owned one of their cribs, but I have owned their furniture before. The quality depends entirely on which piece you get. Their solid wood pieces (like this crib) are great, their pressboard pieces not so much.
DH and I have decided on the Gulliver as well. Our idea for a crib was 1) solid hardwood, 2) lacquer finish, 3) not made in China. We found plenty, but in the $600-$2000 range. With this one, we'll be able to splurge on a chemical-free mattress made from tung oil/beeswax rubbed steel springs, wool, and cotton. (The wool is the fire-retardant, so no fire-retardants are sprayed on.)
