I went through it too my entire 1st trimester, and a few weeks into my 2nd. It was awful! I lost about 20 pounds as a result, was hospitalized several times, and had weekly fluids via an IV. People are so insensitive, and definitely don't understand. Before I was pregnant, I had a friend at work who was pregnant. She had HG, and my boss said "it's all in her head." When I was diagnosed with it early on in my pregnancy, I kind of threw it back in my bosses face. For another woman to be so insensitive about things like this is just absurd!
