Teeth

DD is 13 months old and only has 2 teeth. I think another one may be coming in but is this really normal? I feel like she should have more. She goes to the doc in 2 weeks and I'm going to mention it but just seeing what you all think?

It's ok, my lo had 2 by about 11 months old. Then slowly got the next 6. He now is 19 months and is cutting his 2nd molar. My friend has a 14 ninth old that has had his teeth molars and eye teeth since a year old! So jealous since he sleeps now! My lo is always up! But he's always cutting teeth! He's a late teether

Be careful what you wish for! DS only had four teeth for the longest time. Then he started cutting all four molars, the two lateral incisors, and all four canines. Yeah, that was fun.

My LO is also 13 months old with just two teeth. (Possibly a couple on top on the way).  Both of our moms told us we got teeth around 1, so I think it's normal.  I love his little gummy smiles! :)

Can't tell you if it's normal, but my LO is almost 14 months and has 0 teeth!

 

My LO just turned one and has no teeth. Doctor said it is totally normal to get the first one until 16 months

My doc said normal not too after 1+ -- my friend's 13 mos old has 0 too. We only have 2 on bottom and 2 just now in the last couple of weeks coming in on top.

15 months and no teeth here. He saw the doctor last week, and she wasn't concerned.

What are they going to do? The teeth are there. There's nothing they can give them to make the teeth come in faster.

I'm sure you are fine.  There is such a wide range of "normal".  My LO has 12 teeth and just turned 13 months.  Pedi told me to take him to the dentist.  I can't even image what they would be able to do for him, since he won't sit still for more than 10 seconds.
