Is anyone elses LO bonding with DH already?

Just curious if this is happening to anyone else out there in TB land.  DS is moving like crazy these days - and it hurts some kind of fierce at times.  But when he hears DH or feels DH put his hand on my tummy, baby settles right down.  When DH plays with my belly, light rythmic tapping etc baby responds in rythm.  When DH talks to me, baby will kick/punch the same rythm in response to his voice.   I get the feeling that baby knows DH already and it is a wonderful thing.  Just wish baby would respond to me that way.  He only settles down for me during choir/piano/bell practice.

That is really sweet :) As much as my LO flops around, I think F calms him because every time he touches my belly LO stops moving EVERY TIME! A little frustrating because I want F to feel him move!

My little girl is a squirming, kicking, punching machine! She loves to move and unfortunatley doesn't have a schedule yet - she is quite when I am active at this point and becasue I work in an office my activity level changes on a day to day basis.

The COOLEST thing is that becasue she is such a mover both my husband and my 4 year daughter have gotten to feel her moving around!

I am in the same boat. LO kicks and kicks day and night. However, when I want him to stop I simply have my DH put his hand on my tummy and LO stops instantly. Hopefully, he will stop being so shy around DH, he's waiting patiently (and I mean patiently) to feel LO move.

My LO is really relaxed...I feel her move, but none of this major kicking and gymnastics so many of you mention. I wish she was a little more active, but not to the point of constant disruption. I will feel a good kick and then wait to see if I should get DH to try to feel her, but she stops. Still 3 more weeks until I start kick counts so maybe by that time I will get to know her routine better.

my little girl already knows her daddy for sure! she doesnt seem to care too much when i put my own hand on my stomach, but when he does it she'll start up the tap dancing routine. sometimes when we're asleep and he slings his arm across my stomach she'll start kicking so hard around his arm it'll wake me up!

DH's fav thing to do is to blow raspberries on my belly and watch her react. you can see her move across my belly, either away or toward the noise depending on her mood i guess haha.

I read somewhere that because DH's voice is lower that it is more easily heard in utero. My LO stops moving for DH, too. He does move a lot for DD which is cool.

My baby loves to respond to his/her dad's voice and touch - it's nice and I think gives my husband all the confidence in the world.

I also don't really feel too left out of the equation since we have to remember - the baby is "with" us all day and so is probably way more adjusted to the sound of our voice, our footsteps, our background noise at work and in the car. Listening to Dad is something special because at least in my case he only gets a few minutes quality time per day.

Or maybe I'm waaaay overthinking this but what else is new :)
