I was in a 4th grade classroom today and saw the usual names-Jackson, Ethan, Noah, Taylor, Hailey, Ellie, Anna-but the name that caught my (side)eye was
At first I thought the girl just had poor handwriting and I hadn't read her name tag correctly, but I checked a typed list of student names and sure enough, that is her name. I assume it is "Ann" + "Abigail", but to me it is just awful. I was also not a fan of the spelling Elayna (pronounced like Alana/Elena/etc), but Annbigail took the cake for me.
