Baby position...

How many weeks were you when your baby turned head down?

I have no clue how this baby is positioned. With two previous babies I don't remember realizing or being told they were head down.

Mine is still breach.  I get monthly ultrasounds so they'll keep watching, but said he's likely to turn in another month or two.  It doesn't matter much until you're 36 weeks along or so.

During my first pregnancy, my son was head sometime before the mid-pregnancy ultrasound until the end. He decided he liked that position so early that I was paranoid that he would become breech before delivery, but thankfully that didn't happen. My second baby is also head down. She's been that way since about 14 weeks and every ultrasound since has confirmed she's still head down. But like it's been said already, it doesn't matter as long as the baby gets into that position before delivery.

At this point the babies still move all around because they have room. One day they could be head up and the next heaed down....I swear I can feel when my little girl flips around because its a lot of pressure and almost makes you laugh...I would not worry about i until much later. You will know because they will be kicking you in the ribs like crazy :)

Mine was head down at my 21 week ultrasound.  I think they move a lot though at this point, as PP said, so who knows, he could be breech by delivery (but let's hope not!).

DD#1 was horizontal throughout and then moved to head down - but I am not sure at what point because I think I only had a total of 5 ultrasounds with DD#1.

With DD#2, since I am high risk, I have had many more ultrasounds, so I may know this time.  DD#2 is currently breech.

At this point, their position really means nothing, as they will still be turning a lot.

Mine keeps flipping.  Last week, he was head down, butt p at the OB appt.  Today at his heart scan, the was butt down, head up, and they labelled him as breech on the screen.  Doesn't really matter now, anyway.
