F/U: name announcement

Hey ladies! DH and I decided on a way to tell FIL that we were naming LO after him for Christmas: we were going to get an LSU bib and have his initials monogrammed, and under neath say 'just like paw paw' and give him that for Christmas. Well.... DH got quite intoxicated this past weekend at a wedding, and told a lot of guys from work (FIL is DH's boss, so they all work for FIL as well) the name. They were also pretty intoxicated, and despite our saying 'it's a surprise', I don't quite trust them to not say anything, lol. So we went to the in-laws last night for dinner and told him. His reaction was perfect. DH let me tell him the name, and we both told him our reasons for wanting to honor him. Needless to say we all shed some tears! I just wanted to say thanks to those of you that suggested ideas, and also those that just liked my thread lol.

That's really awesome! I bet he is in cloud 9! Our boy name was after my grandfather and the middle name was after my older brother who I lost when I was younger. I was really excited to honor them and see my granddad's face, but we are having a little girl. Y'all are doing something wonderful and he will be forever grateful :
