Is baby supposed to...

FTM here & I've been having some BH contractions (at least what I think are BH contractions!) since last night - is it normal for baby to be moving around like crazy during/after these? Could this be a sign of distress?? I am worried he is being squished in there & don't see my MW until Thursday to check dilation and heartbeat and all that. Please lmk if this is normal or not?! I thought baby's movements were supposed to get smaller and less noticeable at this point!!

My LO moves crazy all the time.  It's not an indicator of anything that LO is moving during, after, or before bh contrax.  It's totally normal.

We can't wait to meet baby Mason!

Nothing to worry about at all!  When I have BH, my LO goes CRAZY.  It makes it hard to tell what is contraction and what is her kicking me to death!  Movement is great - no movement is bad.

And FYI, I had a biophysical and non-stress test today, and in the NST they monitor your baby and how they respond to any contractions you may be having.  I had a bunch, and she was constantly kicking the monitors off from being so active.  The doctors all thought it was a hoot!  Not a single issue with her activity.  So you're good.  Don't stress!

I read on I think Mayo Clinic's website that baby's movement can be a trigger for BH, so I'd say any movement surrounding them is totally normal.

I've definitely noticed an increase in BH when my LO begins moving after a long period of feeling no movement at all. But I have them without movement too...I won't feel movement before, during or after.

There were several things thy said caused them, no just movement. But either way, I think the BH bother us more than the LO at times. I actually just had a pretty bad one, but I haven't felt the LO move for about a half hour now. So now worries!
