What do you put LO to sleep in?

So I've been worrying lately that my little lady is too hot at night..currently she goes to sleep in a onesie, then a footed long sleeve sleeper and then we swaddle with A&A blankets.  I feel like our room is kind of chilly at night, but I worry about overheating her..do I really need the onesie?  What do you put your LO to sleep in?

Usually a long sleeved footie sleeper and then swaddled with a swaddle me blanket.  I've heard that they sleep better when they are warmer since they are used to our body heat.

That seems like a lot of layers. I would do the onesie OR sleeper (not both) then the swaddle. If you think your room is chilly go with the sleeper. We do a sleeper and swaddle. When DS was tiny we did a onesie and swaddle.. he was born in April and it didn't get so cold at night.

Our house is set to 67 at night. Dd goes to bed in a onesie and sleeper sometimes a fleece one! and a miracle blanket. She's only 9 days old though, as she gets older I'll dress her wo the onesie.

DS wears a sleeper and a swaddle. Depending on if the sleeper is heavy (fleece) or not depends on how heavy of a swaddle we use. For example if he has a cotton sleeper on he gets a heavy fleece swaddle and when he has heavy fleece sleeper on he gets a light cotton swaddle. It gets kind of chilly in our room too and we sleep with the fan on to reduce SIDS but he seems to stay pretty warm.

I was doing the same as you with the same concern.  I stopped and just put her in a onesie and her wearable blanket and she sleeps better.  I realized a lot of her crying and fussiness is due to her being hot.

I found that LO needed more layers the first couple of weeks, then he learned to regulate his body temp and needed fewer clothes.  We live in AZ, so we are still using air conditioning right now.  We keep it at 73 at night.  LO sleeps in a onesie and Halo sleep sack swaddler.

We put him in a onesie then swaddled in a receiving blanket, then a light cotton swaddle blanket wrapped around on top. It seems like a lot of layers, but he's snug as a bug and sleeps great, so we've been dressing him like that for a while now. He has to be swaddled up super tight or he flails around like a maniac and none of us would get any sleep!

Either a sleeper or long sleeved onsie, and a Halo Swaddle sack.

We were doing a long sleeved sleeper and a swaddle blanket, but my little guy is like a little nuclear reactor, so recently we have switched to just a onsie and the a & a blanket.  It has also been unseasonably warm here as well....

DD sleeps in a onesie, cotton footed sleeper, and a sleep sack. Our house, particularly our bedroom, is very drafty. A couple of nights since she's been home have been below freezing, and we also put socks on her, and used a heavier sleeper.

This, when we first brought her home I was doing a onesie, fleece sleeper and then swaddling, but I learned she was too warm, now I just put her in a onesie and swaddle her.

My DS is 3 weeks old today.  I keep the heat on higher than if we didn't have him (72 vs 65-68ish).  At night, I have him in a short sleeved onsie, footed jammies and swaddled in a blanket too.  Often times I keep him in a hat as well, im always so paranoid about him getting cold.

i put LO to bed in just a onesie with feet. she tends to overheat quickly and we keep the room temp at around 75 which seems to be perfect for her.

I read you should never put your baby down to sleep wearing a hat.  They can overheat, which is a SIDs risk.
