TUMS and pepcid work pretty well for me.  Nothing "natural" works though...except for not eating Sad

One Zantac pretty much got me through the day (taken right before eating lunch). Now, I have to take two a day but my doctor said it was fine. I can't go without taking anything or I will suffer terribly.

Milk can help.  If you're getting it when you're in bed, don't sleep flat.  Prop yourself up on a couple of pillows to help keep the acid down below where it belongs.

I had it for the first time last night and I took tums. It helped. Plus, I slept upright overnight as well.

My doctor approved Prevacid and it is a life saver for me. Maybe you can talk to your doctor about some options.

Zantac 150 mg once a day. I would usually take one before lunch. Sometimes after dinner I will take some tums if its still bad.

I drink lots of water, and also tums are ok and are a total livesaver too. I suffer from it too. It's not nice and it's hard to even know what really triggers it for me besides eating too much.

Tums by the truckload. Or bread followed by milk. In that order. Don't do milk first or by itself it'll probably make you feel sick.

Tums or Zantac 75

I take Zantac 150, just once a day for now. I also had acid reflux before pregnancy. The day I started Zantac I wanted to kick myself for not taking it sooner.

I'm on a lot of medication for asthma, allergies, and now GERD that I feel bad, but my doctor has OKd everything.

Tums, milk, or ice cream works for me.  Also, make sure not to lie down within 2 hours of eating or drinking something acidic (like orange juice).  If you have heartburn when you go to bed, make sure to sleep with your head propped up.  Also, eat small meals.

Plain crackers can also help soak up some of the acid.

Chewing gum helps with the early heartburn.   Somehow the saliva helps neutralize the acid.  Avoiding acidic things - tomato sauce, OJ, chocolate.  With DD#2 I was taking a Zantac before bed to help when nothing else would in late 3rd tri.
