Mabis BBT ?

I know they say not to change thermometers mid cycle, but what about batteries? Can low batteries in a Mabis cause inaccurate temps?

I haven't done it but I would assume it would be best to get new batteries then to get wrong readings due to bad battery. When my thermometer's batteries started to die I started getting some really low readings.

I think its a damned if you do and damned if you don't kind of situation.

I agree with peach. I think your temps will just be off this month whether you change the batteries or not unfortunately :/

I do know that low batteries in the Mabis can cause low temps.  If you change the batteries mid cycle you will have more accurate temps, but they will probably all be higher than before you change the batteries and it could really mess up your charting.  I would probably wait and start with a new battery next month.

Grrr. Makes my craptastic looking chart make sense now. Damnit! I guess I better just carry a tampon with me now, since I have no clue where I am at in my cycle.
