Jan IVF Cycle Buddies

Hi! I am a long time lurker and would like to join you all! After 6+ years of battling IF my DH & I have finally saved enough to try IVF. I finally got pregnant in 2009 but it resulted in an ectopic pregnancy and I lost my left tube. I hope to join in the journey of IVF with anyone else going through it. My baseline is Jan 3rd. I am very excited but very nervous.
TTC since 2006 PCOS,Endo,Insulin Resistance,Epilepsy,Hypothyroidism
2007 to 2009-Clomid,Laproscopy Surgery,TI Medicated Cycles, IUI's= BFN
Multiple breaks due to large cysts
Oct 12, 2009: BFP with use of Clear Blue Fert. Monitor
Oct 27, 2009: LOSS-Ectopic, loss of left tube & baby
Dec 21, 2012: Prep for IVF: Sono/Saline Trial Transfer
Jan 3,2013: IVF Baseline Ultrasound!
Jan 8, 2013: Start 225 Follistim, 20 iu hcg daily
Jan 11,2013: Ultrasound=14 follicles SA Results:52 Mil!!!
Jan 12, 2013: Started Cetrotide(Sucks!!)
Jan 14,2013:U/S=17 Follicles
Jan 15, 2013: U/S=17 Follicles
Jan 16,2013:U/S-18 Follicles Trigger
Jan 18, 2013:Retrieved 12 eggs!
Jan 19,2013: 8 Fertilized
Jan 21,2013: 6 going strong at 8 cell stage!
Jan 23, 2013: 4 blasts! 2 transferred 2 frozen.
Jan 28, 2013: Faint +bfp at 5dp5dt! OHSS getting bad
Jan 29, 2013: Beta at 6dp5dt:38!
Jan 30, 2013: 4 bottles of fluid drained from abdomen due to OHSS.
Feb 1, 2013: Beta 160! Drained 4 more bottles again.
Feb 4, 2013: Had 2 & 1/2 more bottles of fluid drained.
Feb 14, 2013: It's twins! 2 Beautiful Heartbeats flickering!!!
April 19,2013: 2 little GIRLS!!! Pregnancy Ticker

Me:28 DH:28 TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR
Feb'12- Clomid/TI with CD3 &21 labs(normal)& SA-count 6mil/ml,morph/motil OK-BFN
April'12 Ultrasounds,HSG -clear, slight acurate uterus
5/14 IUI #1-50 mg clomid-post wash total motile count 19.3 prometrium 2dpiui= BFN
6/11-IUI #2-100 mg clomid & prometrium post wash count total motile 17.5 = BFN
7/6 IUI#3 with 100 mg clomid, estridiol, prometrium. post wash total motile count 23.3 = BFN
8/30IVF#1 BCPs, Follistim, Menopur,Ganerelix,Novarel.
ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F.
ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
IVF#2 BCPs, Follistim, Menopur, Ganerelix, Novarel, Baby Aspirin
ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
2/13- Saline sono revealed a polyp. All additional labwork coming back normal. Genetic screen revealed DH has MTHFR deficiency & I am a carrier for it.
3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy
3/27 Began working with Reproductive Immunologist Dr. Kwak-Kim. Found High NK cells, High DHEAs, slight hypothyroidism, tendency toward blood clots (High PAI-1)Began synthroid & metformin 4/19.

March 2012--Clomid --No response-Straight to injects!
April & May 2012-- IUI#1 & #2 = BFN
July 2012- IVF#1 cancelled
September 2012-IVF#1.2--BFN
November 2012- IVF #2 --BFN
January 2013- IVF #3-- BFFN
February 2013--Found a new RE but first back to the Endocrinologist for more diagnostic testing
Absolutely no idea when we can cycle again...looking into DE as well if IVF#4 fails again
PAIF/SAIF encouraged...give me some hope!!

TTC since 2006 3 Fertility Clinics Test, Pills & Injectables....oh my. Numerous failed IUI's 7 or 8 or more? IVF #1 June 2012 ~ praying this is the only one ER 6/13/12 - 13 ret, 7 fertilized, 7 progressing, ET 6/15/12, BFN & No freeze babies. Onto IVF #2 in October 2012. No, wait, body not cooperating. IVF #2 in November 2012 IVF #2 Began Provera in Sept to make me start. Never started. I O'd on my own??? 2 weeks of BCPs. Period. Baseline & Labs 10/25 Stims started 10/26 ~ 225 Follistim in the am. 150 Bravelle & 5 Lupron in pm. Trigger 11/4, ER 11/6, ET 11/9 - 2 great embies. 3 Freezebabies. Beta 11/23/2012 BFN. Now what??? I don't know if I can keep going? Thank you. Ive been on birth control for awhile to combat the cysts I keep getting from pcos. But RE is having me stop Loestrin tonight and start Orthocycline Friday and I go in Dec 21st for my sono saline/trial transfer. So excited! Just not excited about all the money it's going to cost. I really hate that insurance companies dont help any bit with horrible IF.

Welcome and best of luck! I am also cycling in January with my baseline a few days after yours. As you can see from my sig it's not the first time. I'm sorry for your loss. We don't have IF insurance coverage either and although it is a huge financial sacrifice we just have to focus on it being worth it in the end. Hope we both have a very exciting 2013!
