Intro- Hello!

Hello ladies,

   I have been lurking here for quite some time and wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since March.  We decided to start our family right away as we have been together for over 6years. 

   For the 1st 6months we decided to not prevent and then realized getting pregnant is a bit harder than 9th grade Catholic School Sex-ed led me to believe.  We decided to amp up our efforts and for the past 3 cycle's we've been actively trying by charting and using OPKs. 

   I wanted to extend my gratitude for the information y'all have given.  I did watch The Great Sperm Race and my husband and I are reading through TCOYF so we can both be "active" participants in the process.  It's given us lots to discuss and a plethora of new advice and insight into the conception process that we otherwise would not have.

Me: 31 DH: 31. B/W: good. SA: good.
November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis.
January 2013: Unmedicated. P4 was 8.4. Meds recommended.
February 2013: Femara 2.5 mg and TI. P4 was 8.5. Meds will be doubled next cycle.
March 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. P4 was over 11.
April 2013: Femara 5 mg and IUI#1. P4 was 11.4. Post wash over 40 million.
May 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. Vacation during FW.

Welcome! I am also new here. How great that you are both reading together. My husband just doesn't find that book enjoyable or interesting in the least. I wish you the best of luck and hope you aren't here too long.

DX with ectopic pregnancy at 8 weeks, surgery to remove right tube 01/18/13
Both ovaries and left tube looked healthy and clear, so we'll see what the future holds for us.

Welcome and good luck! If you are charting, Fertilityfriend.com is a great resource and keeps all your info together. You could replace the bump ticker with a nor accurate FF ticker and that would allow us to see your chart if you have charting questions.
