BDing Question

I have a question about people's philosophies about BDing. DH and I BD CD 9,10, 12,13,15 and 18. I'm not using the OPK or anything but after doing researcher and using Ovulation Calculators I've figure we've hit at least 3 out of 5 fertile days. Is that enough? My biggest fear is that we're not doing it enough. But our schedules (esp his bc he's a chef) will make it difficult to BD everyday.

Any thoughts? Advice? Have you dealt with scheduling issues while TTC and still ended up with a BFP?

Thank you! And good luck to everyone!

Use OPKs!

Trust me, it's cut our BDing down to only when it's necessary in the FW. We have differing schedules too.

I also think you should use OPKs.  I start testing when one of the apps I use says it could be my FW.  I usually BD every other day during that time.

I really depends on hitting your personal fertility window.  I personally don't O until around CD 20.  As people mentioned, using OPKs, and charting/temping is a great way to accurately time sex.

THIS!

i personally didn't chart my temp or anything. I followed my ovulation calendar and kept an eye out for changes in CM. My DH and I probably only hit 2 fertile days because I didn't want the deed to feel forced and it worked!

i do think that charting would be helpful though. It puts you more in touch with YOUR normal so you can more easily identify changes :) Good luck!
