Finnegan - WDYT?

We finally found out that we are expecting a little boy in April, which is awesome... but it puts us in a serious name slump. 

That said, DH really likes the name Finnegan James. I think it could grow on me, and I really like the nn Finn.  Our last name is two syllables. DD's name is Genevieve.

What do you think, BNB? Could it work?

Finn is a hugely popular name right now. My husband is set on Phineas nicknamed Finn.

I don't love it but I do like it.  Love your DD's name.  That is my pick for our next one.  I also think the sibset goes nice together.

Love it!! It was my number one with this pregnancy until we found out (unexpectatntly) that we were getting a girl (after 3 boys we were thinking it was gonna be a boy). The other name we liked was Callan both good un-common Irish names

Hate it, but I'm always in the minority on this name. I don't like any of the Finn names. I just can't picture it on someone. It sounds silly to me.

My son is Finn, so I love it - but I don't think it is 'hugely' popular right now. I see it often on here but hardly ever in real life.

This was one of my favorite boy names first and middle! but I couldn't get DH on board with it. He thinks Finn sounds like an old fisherman and keeps walking around the house singing Finn. Finn, Fisherman Finn...
