I LOOOVEE Hermione. Could you see it on a real person, not a fictional witch? Should I stick it in the middle name spot?

Edit: How does Stella Hermione sound?

I think it would be fine in the MN spot. I think it would be nice paired with a short and simple FN.

Hermione is a total GP name for me, I've liked it since before HP. Stella Hermione works for me, I'd be fine with it as a first name too.

I like Hermione.  I don't like Stella, I'm in the minority on here with that.  I really like Fiona Hermione!!  Hermione Rose is pretty but Rose is so overdone as a middle name (even though it's mine and I love it- I predate the fad, lol).

I want to like it. But I just think it would be really difficult to pull of. I'm not one to discount a name because of a particularly strong association (Linus, hello), but for some reason I think the HP connection would be hard to overcome. I think it's great as a mn though.

Also, I feel like a lot of people wouldn't know how to pronounce it. Friends and family of mine that aren't familiar with HP wouldn't have a clue.
