Placenta Previa

Hi all.  I joined these boards when I was pregnant with my first and really haven't been back.  I am now pregnant with my third baby and was told at my doctor's visit on Monday that I have Placenta Previa.  I was just wondering if anyone else had been told this around their 22 week mark and when they went back later on the situation had corrected itself.  I am a little nervous about all of this, especially with 2 little ones at home to take care of.  Any information on any of your experiences would be appreciated :)

Congratulations!!   I had partial placenta previa at 20weeks and when they rechecked at 28 weeks it had moved out of the way.

I had mild previa at 20 week anatomy scan. Follow up U/S at 30 weeks and it had moved.

They thought I might have a case of mild previa (it was so close they couldn't tell at the time) at 23w and by 29 it had obviously moved way out of the way.

Hi! I was told at my anatomy scan at 21 weeks that I had partial placenta previa and was put on pelvic rest.  They re-checked at 30 weeks and it had corrected itself.

I just had my follow up ultrasound today to check, and it had completely moved! You have very good odds in your favor.

My sister had placenta previa (not sure partial or complete) at 20ish weeks, but by 32ish weeks it was resolved. She had a vaginal birth afterwards.

I think the pelvic rest was no fun since it was her first baby and she was still living life like a Regular Married Person. Other than that little disappointment - "wait, how many weeks of no... whaaaat?!" - I don't think she suffered for it. Hope yours resolves just as easily! Good luck!

I had placenta previa at 20 weeks and it corrected itself by 28 weeks.

I had a partial previa with both pregnancies. Both times the placenta moved by 28 weeks.

Hi! I had a complete centralized previa at 20 weeks, at 28 weeks it had moved a little to a complete posterior previa and had a c-scetion scheduled at 36 week ultrasound found out it moved completely out of the way, so no c-section!

I had partial previa at 20 weeks, it didn't move at my 28 week ultrasound, but it moved by my 32 week ultrasound.
