Middle name help for Eleanor

Hello ladies. My husband and I found out this morning we are expecting twin girls and we are so excited!  We are pretty much settled on the names Violet Elizabeth for one, and Eleanor for the other.  (Elizabeth is my middle name, and Eleanor was my husband's great-grandmother's name).

We're having trouble choosing a middle name for Eleanor.   I kind of like Eleanor Madeline.  And Eleanor Grace sounds nice, but I sort of think Grace is the "easy" option (no offense intended).

Any suggestions? Obviously we've decided to go with classic, more old-fashioned names.  Thanks!
December 2011: Missed m/c due to trisomy 13 (conceived naturally)... January 2012: DH and I found out we are both cystic fibrosis carriers... all those names are so pretty! anymore family names to consider for Eleanor's mn?

Eleanor Rose is cute. sort of themes the twins names without being hit you in the face matchy

Love Eleanor. Don't love it with Madeline and agree that Grace is just a filler middle name anymore.

Congrats on the twin girls! I love your name style :) And, your doggy is ADORABLE!!! Ok, now onto names. I love Eleanor Grace, Eleanor Claire, Eleanor Kate. I think I am liking a 1 syllable middle name better than Madeline. Good luck!

Lovely names!  I agree Grace is overdone as a middle name but I'm not feeling Eleanor Madeline.

I like

Eleanor Catherine, Eleanor Charlotte, Eleanor Margaret, Eleanor Susanna, Eleanor Fiona, Eleanor Jane.

I love Violet Elizabeth.  And I love Eleanor.  Not crazy about Madeline paired with it.  What about:

Eleanor Rose

Eleanor Claire

Eleanor Katherine or Eleanor Kate

Eleanor Grace (I have always loved Grace so it's not a filler mn to me)

Or you could use Eleanor as the mn (both girls would have E middle names):

Audrey Eleanor

Lila Eleanor

Camilla Eleanor

Lydia Eleanor

Thank you all for the suggestions! I should have also added that our last name is one syllable and starts with the letter K.  So I don't really like Kate, Claire, etc. with it. However, I do really like Catherine. Or 1 syllable names such as June, Jane, Grace work too.

Haha! Yes, I think I may have taken 'holiday fail' siggy challenge too far. But I think it's the epitome of holiday fail, so I'm sticking with it. Smile

I know it is kinda cliche and a "filler" middle name, but honestly, I think Eleanor Grace sounds really really good together. It flows well and it just works beautifully. And I love Violet Elizabeth as well. Sorry if that wasn't super helpful! =)

I kind of like Abigail for some reason...I think the middle name should start off "soft" after the "nor" so it flows. To me Grace is too hard sounding if you KWIM...or I'm weird which isn't too far off base.

I love June and Catherine for MN options. Other suggestions: Louise, Vivienne, or Victoria.
