So you've abandoned Lillian AND Alyssa?
You know, you're not going to find a name that everyone on an online board agrees with, right?

LOL, not abandoned...my DH is not keen on Alyssa and I'm iffy on Lillian. I appreciate other points of view and hope to hear names I haven't thought of, but by no means do I let the masses choose the final name for my child. My sweet baby has to live with this name forever and I find it's my job to explore all options to find something absolutely perfect so when he/she asks me how they got their name and/or what it means I have something to tell them. Sorry if I cannot commit to a name at 7 weeks pregnant, lol, guess the hormones are making me indecisive. Thanks for all other help and suggestions ladies! I really appreciate it, there are some names I hadn't thought of! :)

I LOVE Hazel...fingers crossed the hubby does too! :)

So she is not allowed to explore other names and options?

Thanks friend! :)
We named our DD Helen after my grandma. She was the picture of elegance (was born in 1918). I love the name and it fits DD perfectly.
Our second choice was Alice. I consider both classic and feminine. Those are my favs :) I also liked Mae and Evelyn.
this!

I'm sort of teasing you. I'm very pro-Alyssa!

No problem! Good luck in your search for the perfect name!

Yeah, you were teasing her and I found it very rude. I don't give a flying fluck how pro-Alyssa you are, it is not your child to name.

We like similar names. :-)
I've been perusing the SSA top names for 18802-1920s.
My DD is Lyla (could spell Lila, Lilah)
and I think we're leaning towards Cora for #2.
Emma was always a favorite of mine, too.
