If this baby is a girl, her name will be Elinore (family spelling). I'm looking for suggestions on NNs for Elinore. We like Elle which we may use, but don't really like Ella, Ellie, or Nora. Also, what are some MNs that sound good with Elinore? The only one we are contemplating so far is Elinore Jane. TIA!
Elin (pronounced A-lynn or E-lynn) is the first thing that comes to mind for NN. I think that is such a pretty name and works perfectly with your spelling.
Elinore works with just about anything for a middle name as well. In fact, I can't think of something I don't like with it!

I like Nora as a NN for Elinore.
Ellie/ Elle is cute but there are just so many out there.
My mom's good friend is Elinore and they always called her Linny. It fit her. I like Elinore Jane!
Elle or Nell or Norie. Although Elle is my favorite. her nn will come naturally!
