To heel or not to heel

So is the no heels while pregnant an old wives tale or what? I seem to remember wearing them last time around until the last trimester. I was actually scolded about wearing them after my m/c by a coworker. Just wondering what your opinions are....

I think people wear them while prego. Celebrities do it all the time and have healthy babies.
Im only a heels for an occasion gal. Im not a daily heel wearer in general.
I think its fine. Just dont fall!!

Wearing heels is fine.  I was having really bad back problems (due to scoliosis) my first pregnancy and the doctor advised me to try and wear flats or better supportive shoes to help take some pressure off.  But other than that as long as you arent clumsy you should be fine wearing heels.

Some people recommend not wearing heels while pregnant because later in pregnancy when you start to lose your center of balance they can make it more likely that you'll fall and possibly hurt yourself or the baby.

As long as you feel comfortable in them and you're not feeling wobbly it's perfectly fine.

I wear heals up to the day I deliver, with all four pregnancies (though I haven't delivered this one yet). I have a picture of me going into the hospital after my water broke with my third in heels. It is fine.

I wear heals all the time when going out and about. It gets uncomfortable when your feet start to swell, but I don't think it really is a big deal before then!

I wore them for work until about 7 months when my feet started swelling and I couldn't squeeze them into my regular size anymore, then I had to get flats/wedges like a whole size larger

This. I'm clumsy, so I won't risk it. However, I'm sute many others will be just fine in their heels. Especially if they're used to wearing them regularly.

I wore 5" heels the night before my water broke.  Advice for shoes in general... don't wear your favorites, they stretch out and never go back.  It's very depressing.

If you can wear them drunk, you can wear them pregnant.
