Mom's who had an epi...question

I'm 9 days PP and have noticed I'm starting to get really sore around the area they put the catheter in. It has never hurt until recently, going to the bathroom is semi painful - not burning or anything just achy pressure and makes me cringe a bit. 
Is this normal? I don't think it's a UTI as it's more on the labia area.

How long did  you have the cath in? Sometimes those things can cause painful urination for a few days. It's also possible that they scratched the area slightly while inserting it.

I had it in for about 2 full days I think, maybe closer to 3 (ended up having a c-section).

I only had mine in for about 3 hours and I had that same pressure type feeling for about a week after delivery. I would say that is normal and it may be a bit more intense for you since you had yours in for quite awhile.

I'm 11 weeks PP and am still a little sore from my cath. I can only really feel it when I am trying to go to the bathroom. It's like the muscles a still strained or something.

Im 4 weeks pp and i was very sore from the catheter. i couldnt pin point what was hurting..i felt very over stimulated almost?  everytime i got up it felt like a rush of swelling. it lasted about 2 weeks. doctor said its very normal.

I had that feeling for about a month but I'm 8 weeks out now and its gone completely. It was a scary feeling, but I think its normal.
