Restoration Hardware crib?

Has anyone gotten a crib from Restoration Hardware? Thinking of getting one at the outlet, for half price. Can take it home assembled. It's really heavy looking though. Not sure if it looks like it belongs in a funeral home! Very big headboard for a little baby. If anyone has one, let me know if the materials and construction are really worth the higher price. Thanks!

I don't know about their cribs but my brother has a bedroom set from there and it is excellent quality! I would take anything from there at any time. It is a wonderful store with really high quality furniture!

One of my friends has a crib & dresser from Restoration Hardware for her LO. She has not been pleased with it's quality. In fact, one of the first things she told me when I got pregnant was DO NOT buy a crib from them. I didn't ask what her specific issues were, but I would check out Baby Bargains for reviews.

Would you be buying it because you like it or because of the brand? If you think it looks like it belongs In a funeral home, I don't care the price or quality, it's not worth it IMHO.

I just received the Ellery round crib from Restoration Hardware and absolutely love it.  Baby Bargains doesn't have up to date info on how the brand has evolved, but they do talk about the importance of solid hard wood cribs vs. manufactured woods which RH does a nice job with. The finish is sophisticated and even though I don't know if I'm having a boy or a girl yet, it will work for both!

The cribs are pretty, but the quality is terrible.

I have the Marlowe sleigh crib, Marlowe dresser with crib topper and Marlowe bookcase from RH Baby. I LOVE it. I have had no quality issues and have been nothing but pleased with each piece. That said, I wouldn't buy the crib if you think it reminds you of a funeral parlor.
