I have absolutely NO problem with using the word pregnant. My friends and I just like saying preggers. There is nothing wrong with saying preggers. I don't judge people for using LOL or LMAO or whatever.
Also, I haven't been lurking, actually I haven't been on here much since my last post because I thought it would be more helpful to wait until I figured out my cycle more than making numerous annoying posts about "Oh, another negative test, but still no AF" or numerous other posts that only require responses like 'keep charting." Plus, I have been busy due top the holidays and who cares if I post every day or not really?
I thought this forum was supposed to be for people trying to conceive to get support from people in the same situation. Some of you are not doing very well and making people WANT to post daily. I've seen posts about people asking for legitimate help, and all they get are numerous posts about reading the newbie links and ridiculed for asking what their sore boobs mean.
You should be ashamed of yourselves! People are looking for help and all you can do is be judgmental.
I am happy I got my period after 5 weeks post stopping birth control after being on it for 13 or so years. I was worried that I would have to wait months to get it. I am stressed about getting pregnant and how long it will take. I will post OCCASIONAL posts about my process. Updates, asking for support, occasional 'I'm just anxious" posts. I will not post daily about my temp dropping slightly or how my cervical mucous looks super sticky today. I might go a week or two between posts as I work full time, clean the house, cook dinner, and take care of my husband who is attending graduate school, and working, and interning at a local homeless and poverty resource center.
I will not ridicule you for posting your daily stats, or sitting all day on this board, or asking if your cervical mucous could mean your pregnant. I will not continuously refer you to a newbie post, when maybe you just really need a human ear.
I will try to be a supportive ear. Whenever I get my BFP, I will post a polite thank you to those who are actually polite and post helpful advice and are encouraging and I will be on my way to the 1st trimester board.
I am stepping off my soapbox and moving on with my life.
