I would love your questions!

First of all, Congrats!

Its been a while since I've been in your shoes so I am coming to you for opinions.  I have a very good friend who has struggled with infertility for two years who just found out that she was KU!  (Yay!)  She has an early u/s this afternoon, she is most likely around 6 weeks, and asked me today to help her come up with questions.  She is very nervous because she has had a previous loss and wants to get everything answered possible.  All I remember is knowing that the actual measurement really mattered this early just because with DS the docs told me I was miscarrying based on his size...they were wrong obviously!  Anyway...

What did you ask at your first appt / u/s?  TIA

Just remind her it may be too early to hear a heartbeat.
Weve had some ladies on here recently that have had added stress because of this. One lady was told to terminate meanwhile there was a heartbeat the following week!!

Id ask any questions she has about her diet, prenatals, what meds are safe if she needs some, what she can expect in general.
I wanted to know what lotions to use for my dry legs!
Any concerns arent too small. So she should ask away!

To be quite honest with you unless there is a specific question in mind, most every thing you could ask could be found in a good book or online. I would tell her to invest in a good book. Not to say there is nothing you can ask, but in a normal healthy pregnancy questions like diet, things like that are in books. Also with my first the nurse came in and went over everything so I didn't even have to ask. If she has a concern ask about it, or if she wants to get a feel of the practice then ask about how they run their office.I don't think she needs to brainstorm for questions though. Congrats to her!

She is feeling very nervous and I understand her desire to look for questions from various sources.  Thank you for your input!
