Just a rant about The Waiting Game

We go to the hospital tonight to be induced...

I am a FTM on bedrest and going c-r-aaa-z-y...  can only think about baby today and I have a major nesting feeling but unable to do anything about it.

Any tips on how to still your mind?

Anyone else on this same level of psychosis?

I cannot imagine how you must be feeling :(  I was not on bedrest, but my son was not born until 41 weeks 3 days (technically the 4th day).  I remember feeling similarly after I passed my due date.  Unfortunately I do not have any great advice, but I wanted to say hang in there and good luck!

I thought other moms might have felt this way - especially after their due dates!

The one good thing about bedrest was knowing that today is the day...   it's been kinda cool being able to plan for today.

Though honestly still holding out that baby will come on her own....

I have nothing else to clean in my house, and still have 10 days till my due date.  I have a feeling they will need to induce me.  Good luck and hope all goes well.  I feel you on thinking everything baby.  Everytime the baby kicks me in the cervix area I get excited that MAYBE something will be happening.  I walked for 45 minutes yesterday and cleaned for 3 hours and nothing.  Good luck!  How far along are you?

I am at 38 weeks 6 days...  So not toooo early, but earlier than I was expecting as a FTM.  I think we'll have our baby by tomorrow! 

I only wish I could clean my house-  then it might distract me for a minute.

I'm on bed rest. I've still got a ways to go before it's time for baby though, we haven't even discussed yet if they're going to want to induce me early or not, but I can relate to the wanting to get the house ready but you can't. It's driving me mad.

I'm on bed rest also. Have been since 35weeks and I will be 37 weeks Monday. I have been crazy not being able to clean house and get things ready. Thank goodness DH has done a great job. But it is still aggravating not being able to do it on your own, also being close to Christmas and not being able to prepare for that as well. Last we heard the doctor said they probably wouldn't let me go past 38 weeks since I have preclampsia, but we'll see. Hang in there and Good luck!

I was on bed-rest with my first. I think I bought about 50+ books in the last two weeks for my kindle. I also bought the first and second season of big bang theory and how I met your mother. The boredom sets in when you can only get up to use the bathroom and no one has time to visit (although my Mom came with meals but she and I don't have easy conversations). I hated bed rest and will do everything in my power to avoid it this time!
