I feel like he'll never be named

DH and I are hoping something will magically click when we meet baby boy. I'm throwing it out there for any suggestions that you guys might have that I haven't thought of... 

My favorites are Rowan, Simon, August. He has since pretty much vetoed Rowan bc every time he looks it up, he sees many girls named it, despite showing him the numbers from SSA. He hates Simon and August. 

We both kind of agree on Milo, although I'm doubting how strong it is for an adult.

DH's absolute favorite now is Hudson. I'm against trendy so thats a no go.  He has also really liked Sawyer. 

Other names I'm okay with are Marshall, Leo, Julian, Tristan, and Collin. 

Any help/insight/comments/suggestions???

I should mention Miles is out bc DH is adamant about the middle name being James. Miles James does not sound good.

I know a little boy names Rowen.

Milo is cute but I agree with it being not very strong for an adult name.

I love Leo and Collin!  Both of those are on my list.

The first thing that came to my mind is Spencer James. I agree that Milo isn't a great name for adulthood.

I love Julian especially with DD's name. I also strongly like Collin. Harrison is on our list ...maybe lose the -son and go with Harris. I hope you find something you love!

I love Milo. Love. You could always name him Miles, call him Milo, and when he's an adult he can decide. I personally though find Milo strong for an adult male but that's me. It was at the top of our list. 

I'm biased on this but Hudson is our fave (obviously, see siggy). We get a freaking ton of compliments on it. It's not popular where we are though. And the meaning of it strikes a chord with us (or the geographical areas I should say). Love it. It's so cute on a boy and strong on a man.

Rowan is NMS and I have seen it coming up in a lot of polls on here (and if it's not Rowan it's Ronan or Roman and to me they're all the same). So I'm finding it overdone.

Sawy,er Leo and Tristan are also awesome. They're really strong. You have a great list of names!

I think Milo sounds like a pet name. I love Hudson and also like Leo from the ones you listed.

I agree about milo not sounding like an adult name. I know a baby Milo whose full name is Michael. Miles is obviously a better formal name, but sounds like it won't work. What about Bowen?
Have you tried putting these three names into Nymbler? Some of the good ones I get are Peter, Graham, Samuel and Leo.

I've said before that Simon is my favorite.  Did you consider Holden or suggest that one?  I like Marshall, Leo, and Colin a lot too.

What about Silas?  I feel like that has a similar feel to both Simon and Milo/Miles. 

Nymbler suggested:  Owen, Julian, Ezra, Jack, Henry, Graham, Myles (ick to that spelling), Liam, Barnaby, Oliver, Lucas, Tomas (I'd go with the English Thomas), Foster, Noah and Tobin (which I've never heard of before).

I thought my kid was never going to be named. Team Greeners, we walked into the hospital with 19 names, obviously boy and girl. She ended up being born and was named in ten minutes. First name was on the list, middle name wasn't. My point, is that your baby will get a name.

I like Milo. I had it on the list for a boy but SO nixed it.

I like the same names as your husband. lol Sorry! I agree that Hudson is a perfectly strong name that would work well on adult male.

As a PP mentioned, Milo could be a nice nn for Miles. 

I also agree with the PP who suggested Silas. There is something about it that I really like.

Well, DH and I had a talk last night. We brought up Archer again, which he used to say he thought he said weird. He thinks the "ch" sounds funny when he says it. But I convinced him otherwise. So.. Looks like Milo and Archer are contenders still. But we thought we had it down to 2 a few weeks ago so we 'll see.

Some suggestions: Rhys (DS is Rhys James so, of course, I love it!), Arlo (kind of the same feel as Milo), Dexter, Felix, Asher, Rhett, Graham, Reid, Jasper.

Hope you can settle on a name soon!
