Rock N Play Sleeper. Work for you or not?

Hi Moms,

My LO is 10 weeks old and a terrible sleeper. We just recently got her to sleep from 11-3, feed and then 3:30-6. She hates the crib. We have her in the bassinet on an incline. For naps she prefers the swing, but it doesn't have to be on.

A friend suggested that she might sleep well in a Rock N Sleeper. Any good/bad experiences with this?

YES!  It was our best baby purchase for DD1 a couple years ago.  So far, DD2 seems to love it as well.

We never had the RNP for DD, but now I wish I did.  We've been uding it for DS since he came home and it's really nice and convienent for those middle of the night feedings.

That said, my DS is 9 weeks and we will be transitioning him to the crib probably right after Christmas.  I don't know what the weight limit is on it, but you might want to check.  GL!

It says the weight limit is 25 lbs. She was born 5 lbs 4 oz and was 8 lbs 14 oz at her 2 month check up so I think we should be fine for a few more months!

I love the rock and play! It's nice because it's on an incline, so you don't have to worry as much about choking. My son and daughter both had a lot of mucus and it's been great!

My daughter loves the rock and play! It's the only thing shell sit  in for long periods of time without sleeping. I got mine around 5 weeks and I really wish I would have gotten it earlier.

Love our RnP!!! LO sleeps in it every night and its super easy to move from room to room. Also keeps his reflux at bay since he is at such a steep angle.

I have one and used it for my newborn to sleep in for the first few weeks after we got home from the hospital. She really likes it and we still use it for naps but have switched her to sleep in her crib at night. I read a few things in my baby book that the incline is good when the baby has reflux but not sleeping on a flat surface may start to affect the baby's spine since they aren't flat and can't stretch out.

Get it!! We got it for DD when she was about 10 weeks old. She never slept more than 2 hours in a row until we got the Rock N Play. She slept 6 hours straight the first night and was a much happier baby after that! I would highly recommend it!

We also love it! LO hates the crib and sleeps in it, the swing, or bouncer. Best gift ever!
