I was on BCP from about June until last week for endo - went on it right after my laporotomy. I was supposed to take it continuously, but around the end of July I started spotting pretty bad. So i took a week off of the pills to allow for a period. And then at the beginning of Oct they told me to stop taking them because we thought we might be ready to start IVF, so I took a week off then. And come to find out we weren't ready to start yet. So I went back on them until last week. Now I am on my 1 cycle off so that we can start IVF at the beginning of the next cycle. Right before I ended this last pack I started spotting pretty bad again, so it was a relief to allow a full period again.
