7 Days Late for AF - Negative Pregnancy Tests - Cramps but No Other Symptoms - Pregnant?

My DH and I are TTC for the 1st time. We have been trying for 3 months now, and this is the first time I have been late for AF. Since the age of 13 I have been on a normal 28-day cycle - never 1 day late. I am 7 days late today and have had cramps in my lower abdomen for about 2 days now. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests - 1 the day my period was due, 1 3 days after my missed period and 1 5 days after my missed period - they were all NEGATIVE! Ugghhhh! So frusterated.

Has anyone else had this experience? How did it turn out for you? I just want to know. I have heard some women don't register on pee tests, has anyone else heard this?

HELP! Going nuts. ;-)

You probably ovulated late, it happens. Keep testing once a week until you get a + or AF.

It is normal to have an off cycle. You probably ovulated later than normal. Keep testing once a week until you get either +HPT, your period or you hit CD60 (then you call your doctor for Provera to jump start your period).

Me Dx: Weak Ovulation / Total Thyroid Removal
DH Dx: Mild MFI (borderline all 3), Varicocele
TTC#1 since 5.11
Clomid 50mg + TI = Poor Response
Clomid 100mg + TI (x2) = BFNs
Clomid 100mg+IUI#1 (5.6M Post Wash & 1 Follicle) = BFN

TTC since October 2011.
DX with Non-IR PCOS in October 2012.
Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycle #11 is a break cycle. Cycle #12 is a break cycle. (The break so nice, she did it twice!)

Yes, when we first TTC I was a normal 28-30 days cycle and boom - cd 39 and no AF and BFN. It just happened that I ovulated later than I thought. What helped with this was tracking my ovulation/cervical mucus. Check out the newbie link at the top of the TTGP page, it has really helpful information. GL.
*** TTC since 10/2010 (no planned bc since 2007) Me (31) Sept 2012 - DX Luteal Phase Defect. HSG 8/2012: both tubes are open, cervix and lining look good; hypothyroidism; DH (35) SA Normal Clomid 50mg, trigger
10/2012 BFFN 1st cycle on clomid 50mg w/trigger shot, progesterone level 19.7, cd28 - hcg level 0.
***12/2012 Cycle #25 TTA break until March 2013***

Yep. Going through the same thing right now. Expected AF last Fri but she is nowhere to be seen. The other posters are right...chalk it up to late O. Keep testing 1x a week till it comes or you get to 60 days, then you can call your doc. Pretty much all you can do at this point...GL.

Thee doth need to learn patience.  I laugh in the face of thy three months and inform thee that it may take up to a year for a couple that is in good health.

It's true that some people don't register on a pee test (at least at first) but I would guess that it is very rare. Odds are that you just O'd late.  If you've been getting negative tests it's more likely that you aren't pregnant than you are one of those people.  Be patient and test again in a few days or just wait for AF.

I actually know that but thank you for the information. Just because it may take up to a year doesn't mean it WILL. I come to this board for support because even though it may be too early to be wondering if I am pregnant... I am still wondering. One can't help what one feels.. lol.
