Naming my twin boys

Hello, I am looking for a little naming advice. I am having twin sons and so far I like he names Isaeah (Isaiah) and Josiah. I am looking for honest opinions no holds barred. I worry about things like them being too similar or people assuming I am a bible thumper. Though I am religious it is certainly not in an extreme way. I truly love the meanings of the names and I chose Isaeah because their father's name starts with I and I thought it would be a cute way to give him some credit other than making one a Junior and not the other.

Also any opinions on that? I find it difficult to make one of them a Junior... how will I decide? First one to the finish line? Thanks for the help!

I think the names are pretty good. I would assume you're pretty religous though. Although I much prefer the spelling Isaiah.

I'm also not a fan of Jrs. So I have no help for you there :)

Thank you very much for your input. I am not a big fan of juniors either so I was trying to think of how I could still the father's name into the name of one of the sons. I was hoping sticking with the I's would be close enough!

I really like Isaeah and Josiah. It does sound religious, but that's not the worst thing ever. It doesn’t make you sound like an extremist to me.

Please skip the Jr. It will make life so much easier for your son and husband in the future!

Could you use an initial for both boys? Like maybe your DH middle initial for the other son or something?

I love the name Josiah! I like Isaiah, too REALLY dislike Isaeah. They are a little close for my taste but not obnoxiously so.

For me, they sound too much the same. I would use the regular spelling of Isaiah. Maybe you could find a second I or J name?

I think they sound too close also, but I LOVE the name Josiah.

If you want matchy names they are good. I like the other spelling of Isaiah.

I like both names individually, though I think Isaiah is definitely the way to go spelling-wise. Together, they aren't horrible but they are a bit matchy. I wouldn't make one a junior- what is YH's fn and mn? Maybe you could incorporate it (one of them and they have the same mn or one gets middle one gets first?) into the mn spot for your twins.

I'd suggest this, so both boys have the privlege of honoring their father.

They are similar, but I like them.  I would spell is Isaiah though, and I wouldn't make one of them a Jr.  I like Josiah and Isaac better.  Have you thought about that?
